CURTIS WILLIAMS

CURTIS WILLIAMS

President    |    WV Construction Company

Curtis is a former Navy SEAL wounded in action in Vietnam. He was part of SEAL Team ONE where he trained at the U.S. Naval Base Coronado, CA.

Curtis’s background includes an extensive career as a diving instructor providing diving tours in Baja, Mexico and other locations. He has unloaded explosives off of sunken Japanese ships in Truk Lagoon and other U.S. Trust Territories. In addition, Curtis supervised the ship maintenance for Southern California Edison Power Plant. His underwater welding and salvaging skills made him one of the most sought after commercial divers in California.

On his more adventurous endeavors, Curtis was a diver and supervisor for a major treasure-hunting project, which was in search of Japanese gold buried in the Philippines during WWII. Additionally, he was supervising diver for Robert Marks Treasure Co. commissioned for treasure hunting of 1700 century Spanish Galleon.

He has been part of a team of volunteers at Authenti-Seals who steadfastly exposed more than 20,000 phony SEALS over the course of five years.

NBC Channel 7 news San Diego interviewed Curtis on his support of the passage of the Stolen Valor Act, a bill he is passionate about. More information is available on http://www.nbcsandiego.com/vid- eo/#!/on-air/as-seen-on/Stolen-Valor-Act-Reviewed/132030088
